Dental Examinations & Dental Hygiene

Dental Examinations

Regular dental examinations and cleaning are an integral part of overall oral health. Thorough dental examinations can spot signs of tooth decay, gum disease and other issues — and resolve them before they start to cause a major problem.

  • Preventative maintenance: Regular dental examinations are the easiest way to maintain good overall oral and dental health by finding and resolving issues early.
  • Catch issues early: By checking teeth and gums regularly, your dentist can spot the first signs of disease, decay and infections to recommend treatment.
  • Preserve your oral health: Protect your teeth and gums by working with your dentist to engage in check-ups and treatment recommendations.
  • Deep clean your teeth: A deep clean with a dental hygienist not only maintains tooth and gum health but also gives you a clean, fresh mouth.
  • Preserve your oral health: A scale and polish removes the build-up of plaque and tartar to reduce the risk of gum disease and other oral issues.
  • Maintain oral cleanliness: Your dental hygienist can also give advice and recommendations for ongoing oral hygiene and cleanliness at home.
